If an organization wants to quickly get employees committed to an upcoming change, it is critical that those changes be communicated in the most effective manner. It’s easy for information to get distorted when people are talking in the break room. One person adds a little here, another person adds a little there, and, before you know it, what’s going around isn’t what’s happening at all! March 2016 Messenger: Communication Plans for Change

Most people are not excited about change. While there is a rare breed of people who are excited about change, the majority tend to dig in their heels and be resistant, at least initially. Once they understand the change, why it is happening, and how it will affect them, employees will be more likely to get on board and support the future direction. The Mathis Group wants to teach you ways to communicate change in a way that will make people excited instead of intimidated.   In March's Messenger, Communication Plans for Change, we begin a new series focusing on how effectively communicating change throughout an organization will reduce the fear and opposition that is often associated with that change.
